Sanja Anđelković
Sanja Anđelković (b. 1991, Novi Sad, Serbia) is an audio-visual and textual researcher-artist whose practice explores speculative fiction addressing environmental fragility, near-future technocratic landscapes, gender, socio-political structures, and the layered terrains of personal and collective memory. Her work includes video, CGI-based works, choral pieces, and theatre performances infused with fantasy elements. Methodologically, she engages layered narrative structures, performative experimentation, and technology-driven image-making to develop speculative environments and propositions. She received an MFA in New Media Art from the Academy of Arts, University of Novi Sad, under the mentorship of Vladan Joler. Currently, she is a PhD candidate at the University of Applied Arts Vienna. Her professional artistic endeavors include art residencies with British Council/BIOS/ATOLYE (UK,GR,TUR), KAIR residency (Košice, 2020), Residency Unlimited (New York City, 2024).
