Julián Croatto
Julián Croatto is a guitarist and researcher based in Berlin, born in Montevideo, Uruguay. He has given concerts in America and Europe, including with state orchestras in Germany and Uruguay. After obtaining his degree in Musical Performance from the Universidad de la Reública in Uruguay, he moved to Berlin, where he completed a Master’s degree in Music at the Hochschule für Musik “Hanns Eisler” and a Master’s degree with a focus on Contemporary Music at the University of the Arts (UdK). He is currently in his second year of He collaborated with composers and premiered contemporary music as a member of the Núcleo Música Nueva de Montevideo and the Ensemble ilinx in Berlin. He was also a founding member of the Simón Bolívar Ensemble of Venezuelan music, the Garufa - Tango Duo, and INALTU - a Latin American music collective, among other groups active in Montevideo, Berlin and Milan.
