Agnieszka Knap

Agnieszka Knap is an artist and educator based in Sweden. She works as a Senior Lecturer at Konstfack, where she also serves as Director of the master’s programme Craft! Her practice spans jewellery, performance, and research, examining being a human in relation to emerging technologies. Knap holds an MFA in Metal Craft from Konstfack and has studied Practical Knowledge at Södertörn University. Recent solo exhibitions and performances include Speculative Annotation (Bomuldsfabriken, Arendal, 2024), Dr Knap Is Listening (The Pharmacy and Health Museum, Lisbon 2021), and Reading with You (Rian Designmuseum, 2020). Recent group exhibitions include Down In The Mines Up In The Clouds (Bomuldsfabriken Kunsthall, Arendal, 2024), The Memory of the Place (International Biennial of Contemporary Metal Art, Vilnius, 2022). Her work is represented at Nationalmuseum, Röhsska Museum, Rian Designmuseum, and private collections.
